Manage Tasks from Viewers

Play2Live has introduced a unique interactive feature of setting tasks for streamers. With an advanced task manager, viewers can challenge their favourite streamers with their own tasks or support tasks from other users with LUC tokens. Streamers  can then decide if they want to perform the task, and receive LUC tokens upon successful completion. What is particular, the platform automatically determines whether the task was accomplished successfully or failed.

In this article,  you will find guidelines to managing tasks from viewers while streaming.

LIVE TASKS OVERVIEW

IMPORTANT: Before you start off a stream during which you are planning to perform tasks from viewers, make sure that the possibility of receiving tasks from other users is not blocked in the Security settings for your account. Click here for guidelines on how to enable accepting tasks from other users.

In the right part of your On air page, you will find the Live tasks section. Here, you can review the currently available tasks, including tasks in action, promoted, and pending tasks, with a short description of actions required to perform to earn a specified amount of LUC tokens.

Current tasks: This is the list of all currently available and unperformed tasks.

Completed tasks: This is the list of the tasks you accomplished, both successfully and unsuccessfully, including the details for each task (completed or failed, amount of LUC tokens earned). Here, you will also find general task statistics for your stream, such as the amount of tokens earned and the number of tasks accomplished and failed.

In action: Tasks in action are tasks being performed at the given moment.

Pending: These are currently available tasks that you can choose from to perform, to promote or to decline. The Pending list includes both tasks that have gained the necessary support from the viewers and the ones that are still collecting their contribution cap. For a task to become available for accepting, it has to be supported by viewers with a certain amount of LUC tokens. The red progress line above the task indicates the amount of support the task has gained so far. The green progress line above the task indicates it has collected sufficient support and is available to be accepted by a streamer.

Promoted: For a task to become available for accepting, it has to be supported by viewers with a certain amount of LUC tokens. While collecting its cap of contributions, the task remains on the Pending list. However, if you really like the task and are willing to help it gain the necessary support faster, you may also influence the task rank by promoting it. This will shift the task from the Pending list to the Promoted tasks section in your Control Panel. It will also place the task higher on the task list that viewers see on their channel page to make it more visible for and more likely to be supported by them. The red progress line above the task indicates the amount of support the task has gained so far.

ACTIONS WITH TASKS

While streaming your game, you can decide to perform a specific task suggested by another user. You can accept, promote, or decline tasks from other users.

IMPORTANT: Before you start off a stream during which you are planning to perform tasks from viewers, make sure that the possibility of receiving tasks from other users is not blocked in the Security settings for your account. Click here for guidelines on how to enable accepting tasks from other users.

Accept Tasks: If you wish to perform any of the tasks suggested by viewers, go to the Live tasks section on your On air page and select one on the Pending list by clicking the Accept button under that task. Keep in mind that you can only accept tasks that have gained the necessary cap of LUC contributions, i.e. the ones with a green progress line.

Promote Tasks: If you feel like performing a certain task, but it has not yet gained sufficient support from viewers, feel free to promote it to help it gain the necessary LUC amount faster. The red progress line above the task indicates the amount of support the task has gained so far. To promote a task, go to the Pending list in the Live tasks section on your On air page and click Promote under the task you are interested in.

Decline Tasks: If you do not like or are not interested in a certain task for whatever reason, you may decline it by clicking the Decline button under that task. The task will disappear from the Pending list.
